The national elective convention of the frontline opposition part, the Social Democratic Front, SDF, initially slated for October 2010 has been postponed. The decision to postpone the highly awaited and critical convention was arrived at during the National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the party that held in Ntarinkon, Bamenda on Saturday 4 September 2010.

I read with great alarm and concern a story in Eden Newspaper edition No. 486 of Monday 30 August 2010 captioned “Stakeholders Urged To Support Access To Female Condoms.” The story read “Stakeholders in Bamenda have been called upon to help ensure availability and accessibility of the female condom to women of the North West Region.
