Prime Minister Head of Government, Philemon Yang, led a delegation of cabinet ministers to the National Assembly for a plenary session.

The session was consecrated to government’s respond to questions pertaining to the protection of peoples and property as well as government’s drive to fight against crime.

Prime Minister Philemon Yang expounded on government’s plan of action, laying emphasis on measures put to place to check crime and ensure the security of all Cameroonians.

The Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary later mounted the rostrum to address communication deficits with emphasis on the deaf.

The Minister of Social Affairs, Catherine Bakang Mbock joined in the trend of her communication counter to site measures taken to ensure that sign language is introduced on television.

Both Ministers noted that a project to introduce the sign language concept is being elaborated. However, the Head of State’s address is always interpreted for this category of persons.

The Minister of Sports and Physical Education who was next to address the assembly had a rough time explaining the reasons for the Indomitable Lions’ debacle at the World Cup competition.

He blamed the lions’ discreditable premature elimination on misunderstandings between players and the lack of team spirit in the squad.
